Immerse yourself in a like-minded community amidst a stunning natural setting as part of this training in Mission Be’s 12-Week Mindfulness Program, specifically designed for educators in the K–5 classroom.
Mindfulness programs have great potential to help children and teachers thrive in school and beyond. This interactive workshop will provide you with the experiences and guidance you need to develop a mindfulness-based self-care and relaxation practice for yourself while learning how to use mindfulness practices to create compassionate and thriving classrooms and school environments.
Through group discussion, journaling, creative activities, mindful walks in nature, and more, you will strengthen your peer network and learn:
-12 solid weekly lessons to deliver to students.
-Mindfulness facilitation skills.
-Daily classroom practices to use throughout the school year.
-Personal practice for your own development and overall well-being so you can teach from what you know.
Each day includes dedicated time for you to sink into experiences that will leave you feeling renewed, refreshed, and inspired. You will leave with the skills, lessons, and confidence to transform your classroom with mindfulness for the benefit of your students and those whose lives they touch. We invite you to join us in building the capacity for mindfulness programming in our school communities.
